cloud and strong UV can occur together. Timed SINAC admission is required.
Cartago, Lankester and Orosí
Descend to the Basílica de Nuestra Señora de los Ángeles, then walk through
Lankester Botanical Garden's orchid, bromeliad and tropical collections.
Flowering varies seasonally. Continue into Orosí for colonial heritage,
agricultural scenery and a typical lunch. Exact church, ruins and artisan
stops must be confirmed.
Walking is not highly technical, but the long schedule, altitude,
changing temperatures, garden paths and repeated vehicle entry make the
