Pacuare Rafting with Transfer to Arenal
Raft 30 km of Class III–IV Pacuare whitewater, then continue from Adventure Inn to your Arenal-area hotel with breakfast and lunch.
Raft on the way from San José to Arenal
Raft approximately 30 km of Class III–IV Pacuare whitewater while moving
between the Central Valley and your confirmed Arenal-area hotel. Bring your
luggage, eat breakfast at the rafting base, paddle through the rainforest
and continue to La Fortuna or the Arenal area after the river.
What the day involves
After pickup, the rafting team provides a helmet, life jacket, paddle and
safety briefing. The published
itinerary allows approximately four hours on the river, including a
riverside lunch, before the onward drive.
Everyone must paddle and follow commands promptly. This is a strenuous
option for active guests rather than a passive float. Minimum age
is 12, subject to river level and operator approval.
Point-to-point transportation
The transfer network serves the San José area, southern Caribbean and
Arenal, allowing you to begin in one region and finish in another. Hotels
outside La Fortuna may carry a surcharge. Dangerous Pacuare water levels
can require a safety-based switch to the Reventazón River.
