From the SJO International Airport, head east towards San Jose on the main highway and after about five km exit right under the Francisco J. Orlich Bridge. Do not miss this turnoff or you are in trouble and will need to go about 10 km out of your way to get back to the bridge. The bridge is not well marked. The name Francisco J. Orlich is carved in the cement in small lettering on the side of the bridge itself. After you exit the highway, go straight 1.5 km until it becomes a brick road, and you will see the big Los Arcos gate to your right past a couple of duck ponds. Drive towards the gate, but do not enter the gate, rather turn left and Adventure Inn is one block to east.
From San Jose to Adventure Inn, drive on the main highway west towards the airport,
you will pass the hotel on your left (behind "Plaza Los Arcos", which you will see from the highway), exit 1 km up beside the Real Cariari Mall, then
turn left at the light to cross the Francisco J. Orlich Bridge over the highway,
then your first right again to follow the clover leaf around so you are briefly
heading east on the highway but get off immediately under the same bridge you just crossed and go straight 1 km until it becomes a brick road, and you will see the big Los Arcos gate to your right past a couple of duck ponds. Drive towards the gate, but do not enter the gate, rather turn left and Adventure Inn is one block east.
